On April 12, 2025, Hawassa, Tula Sub-City residents and members of GSI organized a cleanup campaign at Burkito Hot Spring, a cherished local attraction. Volunteers collected plastic waste, cleared invasive plants, and sorted recyclables to restore the site’s ecological health.
